Philly Improv Theater’s We The People Improv Festival is the main improv festival for the City of Philadelphia. The fest is dedicated to showcasing the diversity of improv talent from across the nation and around the globe, while also highlighting the diversity and talent of our beautiful city to our guest artists and all those in attendance. THE WADSWORTH CONSTANT (PHILADELPHIA, PA)
The Wadsworth Constant is an improvised absurdist one-act play, in the style of Samuel Beckett. It’s a chance to laugh and commiserate at our bizarre shared human condition. Veteran improvisers and theatrical clowns Kristen Schier and Nick Gillette cook up a brand new play together, touching upon the existentialist fears and joys at the heart of us all.
THE LEAGUE OF POINTLESS IMPROVISERS (ANN ARBOR, MI)
Formed in 2015, the League of Pointless Improvisers perform at the Pointless Brewery & Theatre in Ann Arbor, MI. The rotating cast of 22 is made up of the finest improvisers in SE Michigan and is directed by owner Jason Tomalia and Gary Lehman. They perform character and relationship driven Long Form improv based on two opening source scenes. The League of Pointless Improvisers has been invited to perform at the Baltimore Improv Festival, Detroit Improv Festival, Pittsburgh Comedy Festival, IFCincy, Grand Rapids Improv Festival and Kalamazoo Improv Festival.
